(November 7, 2017, Hong Kong SAR, Sri Lanka Guardian) “The old paradoxical conflict between socialism and capitalism is over by replacing a new conflict within capitalism where China along with Russia, Venezuela and some other nations are playing a significant role,” Chu Coi Dick, one of most controversial political fingers in Hong Kong told the Sri Lanka Guardian in an exclusive interview.
Chu Hoi Dick who is also known as Eddie Chu is a member of the Legislative Council represents the New Territories West and a founder of the Land Justice League, a social group interested in a common cause that they have termed as “land justice”.

Born into a family “migrated” from mainland China in 1977, Eddie Chu started his profession as a journalist who was mostly covering the affairs in the Middle East.
“Since 2006, Dick has been involved in local heritage and environmental issues like the movement to protect Queen’s Pier. In early 2009 he and his friends formed the Choi Yuen Tsuen Support Group to stand on the side of the villagers in opposing their forced relocation and helping them to rebuild their new eco-village,” the reports noted.
“In the middle of 2011, he took part in setting up the Land Justice League, a community movement organisation, and has been engaged in grassroots work in Pat Heung, San Tin and ‘the North East New Territories New Development Areas’.”
